I am a Flatwater Kayaker in the British women's Olympic training squad on the path to Rio 2016. I compete in a range of different events, both in singles and doubles. In the shorter distances I race over 200m and 500m, however I love to compete in the longer distance races too which are 5000m and 26km.
Due to a recent nutritional test I was made aware that I have an intolerance to gluten. Trying to find a preferred alternative to regular bread has been challenging. I was recommended to try the Sunflower and Pumpkin seed bread mix from Sukrin and I absolutely love it! Unlike other gluten free breads I find it soft and tastes fresher! As an athlete I take a lot of pride in making sure what goes into my body is going to help me be the best I can be and perform each day at training.
