Sukrin Low-Carb Almond Bread. High protein and gluten-free with Sukrin Organic Almond Flour.

Easy to make, this lovely almond bread is equally delicious with a sweet or savoury topping. Sukrin Organic Almond Flour has the perfect texture for gluten-free bread baking - as some of the oil has been removed by cold-pressing it isn't sticky like almond meal but fine and free-flowing. You could even try adding some chia seeds for added texture and a dose of healthy fats. This lovely, low-carb bread recipe is a great introduction to using almond flour.

 

Instructions

  • Mix the dry ingredients together until thoroughly combined, and whisk the coconut, olive oil and eggs. Add wet ingredients to dry mix.
     

  • Spoon into a greased standard sized loaf pan and bake at 170C/325F for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the bread’s centre comes out clean.
     

  • Cool completely before serving.

240g Sukrin Organic Almond Flour
2 tbsp Sukrin Gold or sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
5 eggs, whisked
120ml coconut milk
80ml olive oil
coconut oil, to grease a loaf pan
